3D DESIGN – SEEING EVERY LEVEL BEFORE IT’S BUILT
Before any pavers were set or soil was moved, this backyard lived in 3D.
These renderings show how this project was planned down to the last step and planting bed—multi-level pool deck, steppers flowing down to the lower fire feature patio, raised stage patio for entertaining, and layered landscaping that softens every edge.
The design phase let the homeowners walk through their future space virtually and fine-tune materials, views, and circulation before construction ever began.
BEFORE – A SPACE READY FOR TRANSFORMATION
The “before” photos tell the whole truth: a basic yard with a pool area that didn’t match the scale of the home or its potential.
Circulation was limited, grade changes felt abrupt, and there was little definition between lawn, hardscape, and planting. No real place to gather around a fire, no destination patio, and nothing to visually anchor the space.
This is the canvas that became The Quarry’s transformation—raw square footage waiting to be reimagined into something worthy of an award.
AFTER – AN HNA AWARD-WINNING OUTDOOR RETREAT

The renovated pool deck in segmental concrete pavers now ties seamlessly into steppers that lead to a lower-level patio and custom fire feature. A jump rock at the pool adds a resort feel, while the raised stage patio creates a natural hub for entertainment and views across the entire yard.
Surrounding landscapes wrap every hard edge in texture and color, softening the structure of the hardscape and making the whole property feel cohesive, livable, and elevated from every angle.
