LANDSCAPE ACCOUNT MANAGER
Location: Dayton, Maryland
Job Type: Full Time, Exempt
Pay Range: Base Salary + Commissions
Schedule: Monday – Friday (weekends as necessary)
POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly motivated, customer service and detail-oriented Landscape Account Manager to join our team. Ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of landscape account management or related experience. As a Landscape Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining client relationships. This is a dynamic position that requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the ability to multitask effectively. If you meet all requirements listed, please apply!
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and client
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with the client
- Communicate with clients to thoroughly understand their needs, interests, and specific project requirements
- Facilitate production to ensure projects meet expectations and are delivered on time
- Review quality of service, assessing site conditions, and suggest improvements to client and/or production
- Maintain communications with internal personnel to ensure efforts are in line with objectives
- Identify prospective clients and take on new leads to help grow sales
- Effectively negotiate details of contracts and payment terms
- Maintain relationships with clients, including following up after projects have been completed
- Perform other duties as needed including snow and ice management as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
- Proven track record of success in landscape account management & sales
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of standard landscape industry standards and practices.
- Excellent at customer relationship management.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of landscape industry and/or sales software experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word.
- Ability to communicate with clients, colleagues, and workers effectively and respectfully.
- Cooperative and able to work in a team environment.
- Flexibility to work in a constantly changing environment focused on improvement.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate and motivate customers.
